Sloan Business Club (SBC) is MIT's premiere undergraduate business organization.
Through our extensive selection of events, our organization works to provide our 1,600+ members with both an expansive business network and a solid mentorship base, enabling students to fully utilize their academic backgrounds in launching strong businesses.
Organized into three initiatives: Finance, Consulting, and Entrepreneurship, SBC offers opportunities to pursue different areas of interest in business. We strive to develop students' skills and prepare them for the workplace.
Members in the Finance Initiative participate in mock trading and an educational program comprising the fundamentals of valuation, global markets, economics, and trading. The Finance Initiative also evaluates public equity opportunities to give members practical investing experience.
The Consulting Initiative connects our members and the general MIT population to the top consulting firms in the industry. Each year, as part of the Consulting Initiative, we partner with a local start-up or VC firm on a strategy or growth project to develop our members in a hands-on setting.
At the Entrepreneurship Initiative, we work to spur entrepreneurial ventures among MIT undergraduates. Our current speaker series brings industry leaders to MIT, connecting them with students and promoting entrepreneurship.
